Jhpiego has been announced as one of 80+ organizations that were awarded funding through Action for Women’s Health.

In the aftermath of the floods, Jhpiego, with support from Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and the Government of Sindh, extended critical health services across the hardest-hit districts of Dadu, Kamber, Shikarpur, and Larkana.

Jhpiego works with Cameroon’s Ministry of Public Health and the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) to support and supervise the implementation of seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC) campaigns in the North and Far North Regions of the country to significantly reduce malaria-related morbidity and mortality.

Collaboration with the SUCCESS Project has enabled ALAVI’s medical staff to improve their expertise in managing precancerous lesions. With enhanced skills and equipment for detecting and treating precancerous lesions, ALAVI’s medical staff now welcome women for cervical cancer screening.

Jhpiego, a global leader in health innovation and a Johns Hopkins University affiliate, has partnered with the Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC) and Villgro Africa to launch the Africa Health Security Accelerator (AHSA), a transformative initiative aimed at strengthening epidemic preparedness and response across the continent.
